Palazzo Paolina

Although this is a baroque palazzo, after the arrival of Romano Carapecchia the important architecture of Valletta followed a more classicising style and less ornamental from that of Francesco Buonamici. It was also decided to have the furniture tailor designed by a prestigious Italian firm for this project for the maximum comfort of our guests. The lower floors are still accessible by the original wide stone staircase which was clad in marble on the first floor. The spacious rooms and common areas were further embellished with original works of art. Most are the works of the owner of Palazzo Paolina, Mr Patrick Dalli, a well established Contemporary Maltese artist.

• Bedrooms – 14 rooms + 1 suite
