Maritime Museum

It is the largest museum in Malta that Illustrates the maritime history of Malta and its important impact on the Maltese society. There are numerous artifacts dating back to different eras from the most ancient to the present one.

Today the museum houses an incomparable collection of more than 20,000 artifacts. The most undoubtedly valuable remains are: the model of the ship belonging to the Order of St John, cannons, the Napoleonic figure of the Hibernia, a marine steam engine of the 1950s.
